2 Odd Sites for March 8

Here's a few to keep you clicking. I love the road kill possums with paint stripes painted over them. The road stripers must be doing angel dust. In Texas we have a great fondness for possum and armadillo road kill. It's kind of entertaining when you see an armadillo that looks like it exploded. Because you know it was some drunk dumbass in his bigass pickup who hit the armadillo. He sees the armadillo plodding across the road and floors it and flattens it at high speed and you know it made a mighty pop when he hit it.

I'm sorry I had to add another photo from these guys -- Entitled, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the living corpse (it was in a section with corpse photos--maybe you have to be in the proper mood, but I laughed hard!)

Easter Time Extortion



So they make you pay $8 for these polaroid photos with the Easter bunny. My son's teacher did warn that they're only polaroids, but she did add that if parents don't buy a picture their kid stands around screaming while everyone else gets their picture taken with the Easter bunny. And they take the picture with one of those machines you get an id picture taken for your job at a real important company so you get to wear an id on one of those dumb id holders that festoons every other dufus' neck in this land O' terrorism/paranoia.

So cough up the dough and get the $8 picture so you don't scar your kid for life and they can't even wait for your kid to look at the camera. Gee thanks, here's my eight bucks and thanks for making my kid look retarded!

I guess I should roll over and accept it especially after the hosing I took from Santa on his high quality picture pack, holy crap I was amazed my son was even in those pictures, they were so shitty. Soon they'll just have you stand in line and hand you a variety pack of pictures of santa for $40 and that'll be that. "Oh you can tape your lovely child's photo right where that "X" is next to Santa's face. Oh no you'll have to get your child's photo at Sears."

So I asked about the big picture day, "Was it fun having the Easter bunny at school?" My son's response, "Yeah, the Easter bunny drives a pick-up." I decided not to ask if he thought it was a real bunny, why ruin the moment.
